ATLAS 271:
|
|

|
I would like to welcome you to the Atlas at
Camping Les Prairies du Lac. I acquired this mobile
home in May 2009 and I spent the following month getting it ready to receive guests
for the summer season which turned out to be very successful as was the 2010 season. There has been some upgrading and modernisation
including the supply of a full set of outdoor furniture including four chairs, a table and parasol.
The following items
have been supplied, or replaced, for the benefit of future guests. Some of these have been added for 2011 following suggestions
by previous occupants:- A satellite television with DVD combined, a microwave
oven, a toaster, a kettle, an iron, a refrigerator, a cooker hob and oven which uses bottled gas, 6 dinner plates, 6 side
plates, 6 soup/cerial bowls, 6 mugs, 6 tumblers, 6 knives, 6 forks, 6 desert spoons, 6 tea spoons, cork screw, bread knife,
oven gloves, cheese grater and other sundry items.
The television has a satellite dish so that all the familiar British
television channels can be received in high definition. However, you will have to remember that the time in France is one
hour ahead of the UK and, therefore, if a programme is scheduled to start at 9 pm it will, in fact, start at 10 pm (French
time).
For the safety of guests there is a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket in the mobile home. A terrace is attached to this mobile home and, as I stated
above, outside furniture is provided. However, although duvets and pillows are provided, duvet covers, bed linen, pillow
cases and towels are not. One
car may be parked on the grass by the terrace but cars must not be washed on the site. A cot and high chair are
also available.
I will just point out that the electrical sockets in this mobile home are the French type
so you may want to bring adapters with you for your various electrical devices.
I wish you a pleasant and
enjoyable stay in the Vendée and in my mobile home.
